BACKGROUND
The 6th Borobudur International Symposium on Science and Technology (6th BIS-STE), centered around the theme “Co-creating a Sustainable Future: Green Tech and Digital Society,” serves as a global forum for scholars, researchers, and industry leaders to converge and exchange groundbreaking ideas at the intersection of sustainability and digital innovation. As the world faces unprecedented challenges in energy, environment, and technology, 6th BIS-STE emphasizes the pivotal role of interdisciplinary collaboration in forging a sustainable future. The symposium spans critical fields including Chemistry, Computer Science, Material Science, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Energy and Green Technology. Each of these areas is vital in driving the innovations necessary for building resilient, eco-friendly infrastructures and advancing a digitally connected society. By bringing together diverse expertise and fostering synergies across disciplines, BIS-6 aims to inspire new approaches and solutions that not only meet current global demands but also pave the way for a sustainable and technologically integrated world.
